We play a mixture of traditional styles, including bluegrass, New England, Southern oldtime, Irish, Cape Breton, swing, French Canadian, Western Swing, blues, ragtime, Cajun, Klezmer, Greek, country and rockabilly! Click on the Repertoire menu for details.

The Reiner Family Band, from Lexington, Massachusetts, features the lively fiddle - banjo duets of champion fiddler Dave Reiner and his wife Cindy Eid. Their sons Andy Reiner and Eric Eid-Reiner play fiddle and piano, respectively. John Robinson, Paul Harty, and other honorary family members join in on occasion on guitar, mandolin, and vocals, in a repertoire ranging from traditional bluegrass and oldtime styles to Irish, Cape Breton, swing, ragtime, Klezmer, and Cajun.
RFB not only plays great traditional tunes for audiences of all ages, but also involves their listeners in learning about the instruments and the music.
Need a great band for your event? The Reiner Family Band is available for festivals, house concerts, celebrations, parties, dances, weddings, fiddle workshops, and other special events. We can play acoustically or provide a full sound system for indoors or outdoors. While we live near Boston, we play throughout New England. For New England contra and square dances, we can bring an experienced dance caller who can make dancing easy and fun for all ages and all ability levels.
